What is the standard depth of a kitchen cabinet?

June 4th, 2008 | by admin |
Stupe asked:

We’re looking a new home and the depth of the kitchen cabinets barely fits a normal sized (10″) dinner plate. What’s normal/standard?
So, the cabinets that are less than 12″ are cheap / sub-standard and we should probably not buy the house unless we (me - the mom) want to suffer with small chincy cabinets - that’s what I’m trying to tell my husband!!!!
