I am remodeling an older lake home.I have read in many of the books and magazines that salvage yards are a great source of all kinds of materials.
How do I find a salvage yard in my area..
I would love to find 100 year old wood doors..glass door knobs and the like.

The price be warned though that you might contact your county extension agency and ask if there are such materials to do minor repairs and ask if.
