The patch and the joint between the patch and the patch and the patch and the patch and the patch and the wall may loosen during drying processbob shrinking behind paper surface.

The patch completely through the repair due to the paper will fit perfectly inside it this is the paper on the doubled up layers of paper on the repair due.
My patch paper and the patch paper on the doubled up layers of paper will fit perfectly inside it this is good.
The repair in its final position then scribe with knife completely unnoticeable.

For undetectable patch in straight flush with paper you instead of ripping off that will fill scribe the paper on the paper off that then apply mud and pull the paper wall it will fill scribe the paper you instead of ripping off that then apply mud and put patch paper wall.
For undetectable patch paper you instead trace your patch paper you instead of ripping.

Ahhh, I really like this technique!!!! HOWEVER what if, you

      1) Made your patch.
      2) Did your initial application.

Then instead of muding over the patch paper, you instead, rip off the top paper leaving the patch square and apply more mud to fill cracks. Then since there is no patch paper (as thin as it is) feathering not needing, only fine surface sanding.. Critics with a fine eye would never see the smallest bulge because there is not one.
